The Lakeville Volunteer Fire Company was founded in 1979 to provide Fire Protection and Suppression Services for the residents of
Paupack Township. We are the primary responding fire company for all Paupack Township and the portion of Lake Township that is in
Paupacken Lake Estates.
General:
- Junior Fire Fighter Membership program is open to young men and women ages 14-18
- The Program is designed to provide opportunities for our young members to learn and understand the firefighting profession
as well as provide support to them in their academic, social and career development.
- Training in First Aid and fire fighting philosophy and principals is provided.
- The ideal of community service is further supported by their activities in the fire company.
- Character development is promoted by example and hands-on guidance.
- Promotion of a good work ethic is stressed.
- Personal behavior and scholastic proficiency is strongly promoted.
- Fire Essentials Training is required. This is a formal course of training provided by State Certified Fire Instructors.
- Promotion of a Safety Consciousness strongly encouraged.
- Junior Fire Fighter Mentoring Program
- Special Note:
All young people are not interested in the fire fighting aspect of a fire company.
We also offer the opportunity for you to provide community service through our Auxiliary.
In this department, within our Fire Company,
you will be able to support your fellow members during activities where we have to respond to situations relative to
guarding the safety of people and property. You will also be able to provide support to the community through some of our
various activities associated with the Auxiliary.

- Fire Prevention Week Activities – with special attention towards Community Youth
- Community Interactions with various youth groups
- Halloween Party for younger children
- Visitations with schools, churches and Senior citizens
- Chicken Barbecue in August
